At Lady Elliot Island

swim and dive in one of the richest marine eco-systems in the world.

Location:
This is the first island on the Great Barrier Reef, situated 80 kms
north east of Bundaberg.
Access: All island access is by air. 25 mins from Bundaberg,
35 mins from Hervey Bay. 3 flights daily. Seair operates daily flights
from the Gold Coast.
Property features: Reef Education centre, restaurant, dive
shop, pool, poolside bar & bistro, library, resort shop, children’s
playground, laundry, public telephone
Room features: Only 42 rooms. Island Suites are spacious
beach front 1 & 2 bedroom units which sleep up to 6. Tea &
Coffee facilities, fridge & ensuite bathroom. Most Reef Rooms
have a
double bed & 2 bunk beds, tea & coffee facilities, private
bathrooms. Tent cabins have 4 bunk beds with timber floors, power
& lighting, communal bathrooms. All rooms are fan cooled. There
are no TVs, radios or telephones.
Complimentary activities: Reef walking, fish feeding, island
history walk, badminton, table tennis, snorkelling (equipment hire
at Dive shop), archery, whale watching (July-Oct), volleyball, Turtle
tours (Oct-Apr), mini golf. Activities available at extra cost: Scuba
